But Bhandari did not stop here also, he had also emailed in Australia about the spread of lesser florican, on which Dr. Mark Carey, Assistant Director of Australia Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water told that Lesser Florican (Scyphotides indicus) of Australia Not a native species. There is no record of the species being found in Australia.
Regarding this, social worker Akshay Bhandari met Officer Santosh Kumar Ransore in sub-division Sardarpur. Officer Ransore has also described the lesser florican bird as an Indian bird.
